The S-12HG is the very first U.S.A. made, all solid wood, production line modern harp guitar.  This instrument was designed to sound and play great. It was engineered to be light weight without compromising structural integrity or acoustic tone. Having carefully examined several original Knutsen and Dyer harp guitars, we decided to model this design after these famous vintage classics. It is improved with some of today’s modern advancements including higher geared guitar tuners for easier tuning, adjustable truss rods, CNC machined neck for guaranteed precision and consistency and carbon fiber nuts and saddle that are harder, lighter, and stiffer than bone. Without neglecting traditional construction methods we achieved a great sounding instrument with modern modifications for the consumer market.
